About Lynnette Schuepbach

Welcome to the site of Lynnette Schuepbach. My hope is to share my creative joy with the world. Lynnette Schuepbach is a self-taught artist/illustrator and author/poet with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from SIUE.

She has used the medium of watercolors for several collections including “The Love of Flowers Collection” and “Love Above and Below Collection.” Watercolor illustrations were also used in Froggy Hollow, the first of her children’s stories to be published, and in subsequent books, Shhhh!!!, Cat Time, It’s My Turn!, and Mya’s Magical Math, and in two books written by Cynthia Dwyer, Can You See Me Now? and Four-Eyed Phillip.

Lynnette added a chapter book, Run-Away Mind, when her grandchildren grew old enough to read the advanced stories.  She also documented the life of David A. Ladd in the biography, Uff-da! What a Ride!.

Lynnette Schuepbach’s

Brady Kesner’s floral images are quite unconventional. Soft focus, painterly effects, and swirls of color come together naturally through the lens to create distinctive flower photographs.

Creativity Q & A

Answers to questions about creativity

According to The Wagner Institute for Color Research, color can create moods even when not seen by the eye. So before you pick the color for your room, decide what mood you want to create.
To learn a new skill, you must practice! Practice! Practice! You cannot become a concert pianist overnight, nor can you envision colors in a room overnight. If you have the desire to achieve it, you must practice it.
This question reminds me of the story of the greatest chef in the world! Everyone felt that Lexi could make anything and everything. She often concocted her own recipes, and every chef and person who ate was in awe of her talents.

EPITAPH

Remember me as you sorrow for your loss.

Shed a tear.

Remember me as you think about the good times.

Give a cheer.

..

Remember me as you struggle through change.

Grow from strife.

Remember me as you live for the joy of today.

Celebrate life.

Remember me, with love.

BALANCE

Female and male.  Female and male.
Inside us all, whether bold or frail.

The female receives the Spiritual Light.
She knows what it takes to make life right.

The male trusts in her to know the Way.
And jumps into action without delay.

If female is weak, the Way is lost,
And male will act as if wires are crisscrossed.

If male is weak, he will not defend
What female says makes a Spiritual end.

Balance inside is what all of us need.
Female must guide us, and male must take heed.

LIGHT

Light-Light

It splits the night

To break the darkness with it’s weird flight.

Night-Night

It is not right

To cut the darkness with such bright light.

Black-Black

It will come back

To keep the light within night’s light-sack.
