POSITIVE SILENCE
Silence is a blessing to hear.
It makes me pause to face my fear.
It's been used for millions of years
To center thoughts and bring deep cheer.
Silence helps me go within
To search my soul for hidden sin.
When centered there, I can begin
To focus on what makes me grin.
I learn to know the strength inside,
Powerful as the moon and tide.
I find the strength to keep my pride
While hearing nothing from outside.
I bless the silence near to me,
Focusing on flying free,
Showing what's been or what will be
When silence keeps me company.
