Black Mask

A black mask falls over my face

As I hide myself from me.

I fade among the human race.

Blindly, I nod to agree.

No thought goes out to what I think

On how life or death should be.

I fool the world to think life's pink

And not the shade of a pea.

Perhaps I am not false at all

And the world is full of glee.

Life's, instead, a happiness ball

With joy as its cup of tea.
