A HUMBLE ATTITUDE
Look at the earth, and you will see
How truly magnificent it can be.
Mountains that reach up to the sky.
Valleys with laughter and lullabies.
Lakes and streams where waters flow,
Meadows and fields where crops can grow.
Forests where foliage bursts in spring
With wildlife, insects and all living things.
Exciting cities with culture and fun,
Home is a solace for everyone.
Oceans with waves that soothe the soul,
Hurricanes, earthquakes--out of control.
Cactus survive desert’s hot, dry days.
Snowdrifts create a downhill maze.
Seeing the value in all we view
Should give us a humble attitude.
