Welcome to the site of Lynnette Schuepbach. My hope is to share my creative joy with the world.

Lynnette Schuepbach is a self-taught artist/illustrator and author/poet with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from SIUE. She has used the medium of watercolors for several collections including "The Love of Flowers Collection" and "Love Above and Below Collection." Watercolor illustrations were also used in Froggy Hollow, the first of her children’s stories to be published, and in subsequent books, Shhhh!!!, Cat Time, It's My Turn!, and Mya's Magical Math, and in two books written by Cynthia Dwyer, Can You See Me Now? and Four-Eyed Phillip.

Lynnette added a chapter book, Run-Away Mind, when her grandchildren grew old enough to read the advanced stories.  She also documented the life of David A. Ladd in the biography, Uff-da! What a Ride!.

Lynnette's poetry is featured in several poetry anthologies, and one of her poems, “Speak to Me,” is used as the basis for an instructional wood carving book. Addition prose and poetry have been published along with beautiful poetry by Brady Kesner in Floral Expressions.

Lynnette’s wide range of work experience has given her an eclectic look at life, always focused on education. After substituting in the public school systems, she taught various craft projects in the art, craft and framing industries. As a guest teacher, Lynnette appeared on several cable television programs. She was instrumental in the development of a lesson-plan/videotape grant program for school systems, and has presented at the Parents As Teachers National Center’s Conference to help parent educators learn hands-on art projects, which can teach traditional curriculum in a creative way. Lynnette was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Arts & Science from the Highland Illinois Area Schools Alumni Association in October of 2010. She was also honored with the "Women Mean Business Award" from the Highland Business Women's Club in October of 2011.
